What if you are that special one, their only one, the one that melts their heart. The one they want to hold, the one that they love, the one they can’t wait to see at the end of a long day. The one that makes their heart go pitter patter. The one that they save every dollar for, to buy you something special.

Buy you the best and the biggest bunch of flowers that can fit in a vase.
Or the rose petals on the bed in the shape of love 💔.
Just for you! Only you! No one but you!
How Friggen lucky are you! That deserves a double !!
Is this you, then Valentine’s Day is a big deal.

The moment of truth – what flowers did he send. He loves me, he loves me not.
Counting one, two, three …… ten, eleven, twelve, sigh of relief, he does love me. 12 perfect roses, the number of love.

Why do we celebrate Valentine’s Day on just one day? Shouldn’t we celebrate every day our love for the person in our heart, in our life, our whole world.

Do you know how many roses are sold each Valentine’s Day? They say it’s estimated to be 250 million!

That means that a whole bunch of us (excuse the pun) miss out.

We first need to look within when it comes to love. We need to love from the inside out and we need to glow just like those sticks – pink, purple, green, yellow, shinning bright like a diamond.
Love should be unconditional and no one should be negotiable. Love comes with such strong caveats attached:
Love me or lose me
Cheat on me then leave me
My funny valentine
Sweet, comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable, unphotographable
Yet you’re my favourite work of art
Frank definitely says it best.

What’s love got to do with it?

Absolutely nothing and absolutely everything. Love is love is love is love.
Really, is it the best Rom com you can watch, Valentine’s Day, one of my favourites for Christmas Day, or just because you love the movie. I actually do.
So is love, love or is it make believe in a biscuit box or that empty bottle of wine?
Remember as the movie ends, love is everywhere.
